Chulalongkorn University Scholarship Benefits:

  • Chulalongkorn University’s Graduate Scholarship Program offers a monthly stipend and accommodation totaling 16,000 Baht.
  • Candidates will receive an economy class round-trip ticket, and reimbursement, up to actual cost. 
  • For ASEAN country students, each leg of the journey should not exceed 8,500 Baht, for Asian country students, each leg should not exceed 12,000 Baht, and for students from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa, each leg should not exceed 20,000 Baht.
  • North and South American applicants’ airfare for each leg should not exceed 30,000 Baht.
  • The Scholarship covers tuition fees, except for any specific faculty or program-related special fees, which students must arrange with their respective faculty or program directly.

Eligibility Criteria for the Chulalongkorn University Fully-funded Scholarship:

  • Students from both ASEAN and non-ASEAN countries are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be new students, not previously enrolled at Chulalongkorn University for over one semester.
  • A bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field for the chosen program is a prerequisite. 
  • Priority is granted to applicants in faculty, researcher, or academic staff positions.
  • Applicants must have a maintained GPA of a minimum 2.75 and a graduate GPA of 3.25 to apply.
  • Applicants must be under 40 years old when applying.
  • Scholarship recipients cannot work within the country during their scholarship period.
  • Proficiency in English, TOEFL score of 500 or higher, or securing a minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or 173 in the computer-based test.
