To be eligible for the Gates scholarship, the applicant must meet the following critera
- The student must be high school senior

How to apply for Gates scholarship 2025
To apply, the applicant needs to create an MYTGS profile on www.gatesscholarship.org.
- In phase 2, 2,000 semi-finalits willbe invited to continue the application process
- The application requires a questionnaire, essay, updated transcripts, and letters of reccommendation.
- Phase 2 must be completed by the January
- In March, 600 candidates will be chosen for the final phase
- In the final phase, candidates will be interviewed either in person or via video call. In April 300 finalists will be announced and will need to provide documentation for award allowance.
