KAUST Scholarship Eligibilty Criteria
To be eligible for the King Abdullah University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements
- Language Requirement: English Proficeincy with a minimum score of 79 in TOEFL IBT or 6.5 in IELTS

How to Apply for King Abdullah University Scholarship?

To apply for the KAUST Scholarship, you need to submit the following:
Official Transcripts: Upload scanned copies of your university transcripts (including grading scale) in the original language along with a certified English translation. If admitted, send the final official transcript in a sealed envelope before arrival.
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include your academic background, work experience, research, and any publications (with abstracts).
Statement of Purpose: A 750-word essay about your academic background, research interests, career goals, and why you are applying to KAUST.
Three Recommendation Letters: Must be written by professors or advisors who can assess your academic and research abilities. Letters should be submitted directly by the recommenders.
English Proficiency Test:
IELTS: Minimum 6.5 (with at least 5.5 in each section).
TOEFL iBT: Minimum 79 (with at least 17 in each section). KAUST code: 4107.
PTE Academic: Minimum 62 (with at least 59 in each section).
CAE: Minimum 176 (with at least 169 in each section).
Exemption: Not required if you have a degree from an accredited institution in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
GRE (Optional): Not required but can be submitted. GRE Code: 4139.
