This fully-funded scholarship offers graduates the chance to advance their studies in science and technology in one of the most advanced countries.
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is awarded twice for August and January intakes, during the academic year. International students with a passion for Science and Engineering can apply to this program.
SINGA scholarship or Singapore International Graduate Award 2025 provide international students the opportunity to pursue doctoral studies at prestigious universities in Singapore, such as Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and the Singapore University of Technology. This scholarship, in partnership with the Agency for Science, invites candidates interested in conducting impactful research leading to a PhD in Science and Engineering.

The Singapore International Graduate Award 2025 provides PhD studies in the following fields:

The Singapore Government Scholarship 2025 will conduct their research in the state-of-the-art laboratories of A*STAR Research Institutes in Singapore. Benefits of the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025 (SINGA)
- The SINGA Awardees will get the following benefits:
- Awardees will get full tuition fees
- A monthly stipend of S$2200
- The monthly stipend will go up to S$2700 after passing the first exam.
- The fellow will get a one-time airfare grant of up to S$1500.
- The fellows will get a one -time settlement grant of S$1000
Eligibility Criteria of Singapore International Graduate Award 2025
- Only international students can apply for the SINGA Award.
- Students with a bachelor’s degree completed can apply
- Students with excellent academic records
- Students proficient in English Language
- Students don’t need to provide an English Proficiency Certificate for SINGA since it will be assessed during the interview. In some cases, some universities may require it.
- National Students cannot apply
- Applicants for a master’s program are not eligible.
- Only those who want to pursue their PhD. in science and engineering can apply.
- PhD programs in social sciences, humanities, economics and similar fields are not eligible.
How to apply for the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025?
- Students will need to apply through an online portal or website.
- Candidates must choose research projects by browsing the “Go to research Areas” section.
- Referees must send their reference letter directly to SINGA.
- The application process starts when SINGA receives at least two reference letters.
- Upload the soft copies of required documents to the online application.
- If you are applying to the SINGA portal, then you don’t need to fill out a separate application on the university site.
- Submit the application at least two weeks before the deadline. Once submitted, your referees will receive an email and have 7 days to send the reference letters.
- Candidates must detail their research proposals in the application forms.
- They can submit up to 3 research proposals.
- There’s no need to contact a supervisor to apply for SINGA.
